Cooper Road USA Field Trip Fridays
Dear Cooper Road USA Family and Friends,
On behalf of the children attending school in the Cooper Road community, we are proud to introduce our flagship initiative, Field Trip Fridays.
Field Trip Fridays is designed to provide transformative educational experiences for students in grades K–12 attending our neighborhood schools, including Linear/Northside, Pine Grove Elementary, and Green Oaks Performing Arts Academy.
Our mission is to bring learning to life through engaging educational field trips that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence. We believe every child deserves access to enriching experiences that expand their knowledge and expose them to opportunities beyond the classroom.
As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we are embarking on an extraordinary journey to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent students from participating in educational experiences that can shape their futures. Through our Financial Assistance Program, we will help subsidize the cost of field trips and educational activities for students attending schools in the Cooper Road community.
Field Trip Fridays will provide students with opportunities to:
• Participate in hands-on science and STEM programs
• Explore innovative technology experiences
• Visit colleges, museums, and cultural institutions
• Experience behind-the-scenes educational tours
• Develop leadership skills through community service and volunteer opportunities
• Discover career pathways and future possibilities
Teachers from our neighborhood schools will be able to request assistance for educational field trips and enrichment activities. In return, Cooper Road USA will work to provide resources that help educators inspire students to become lifelong learners.
Your support is vital to the success of this initiative. Financial contributions from parents, community members, local businesses, and corporate sponsors will directly impact the lives of our students by opening doors to educational opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
We are asking each family to consider contributing a minimum of $25 per year to support the Field Trip Fridays program. Combined with corporate sponsorships and community partnerships, these contributions will help us create memorable learning experiences that encourage students to dream bigger and achieve more.
Research consistently shows that hands-on learning experiences significantly increase student engagement and motivation. By exposing students to the world beyond their immediate surroundings, we help them develop new perspectives, aspirations, and goals for their future.
As an added incentive, Students with perfect attendance along with their parents may have the opportunity to attend a special end of the year field trip. The success of our program will be measured through parent, teacher, and students evaluation of experiences.
Together, we can invest in our children, strengthen our community, and create opportunities that inspire the next generation of leaders.
